A bit more added on the Stargate. Symbols have all been cut and glued on and the nut and bolt system for connecting all the sections together have been fitted. I tried the first assembly today and everything seems to bolt together well and the ring in surprisingly strong. The whole Stargate is a bit heavier than expected but still not to bad for two people to put together. The real problem now is going to be working out how to make it stand up on its own.
